The Claims Process

What happens
step by step.

Notify Us Immediately

Contact us as soon as possible after any incident. Do not wait days or weeks — most policies require prompt notification, and delay can complicate or invalidate a claim. Call (592) 226-9245, email, or WhatsApp.

Do Not Admit Liability

At the scene of any incident — motor accident, property damage, or third-party injury — do not admit fault, apologise, or agree to pay anything. These actions can complicate your claim. Let your broker handle it.

Document Everything

Photograph all damage, all relevant parties, and the scene. In motor accidents: collect the other driver's name, licence, plate number, and insurer. In property incidents: photograph before anything is moved or cleaned up.

We Register Your Claim

We record your loss notice in our electronic claims database — every claim is tracked from day one. We notify the insurer formally on your behalf and manage all communication with them.

Assessment & Investigation

The insurer appoints an assessor or loss adjuster to evaluate the claim. We oversee this process, ensure the assessment is fair and thorough, and challenge any findings we believe are incorrect.

Negotiation & Settlement

We negotiate the settlement on your behalf, ensure you receive the full amount you are entitled to under your policy, and confirm the final payment with you. We do not close a claim until you are satisfied with the outcome.

  • Do not move vehicles until photographed (unless causing a hazard)
  • Call the police if anyone is injured
  • Collect all parties' details
  • Do not arrange any repairs before our assessment

🏠 Property Damage (Fire, Flood, Storm)

  • Ensure the property is safe before entering
  • Do not discard damaged items before they are assessed
  • Make temporary repairs only if necessary to prevent further loss
  • Keep receipts for all emergency expenditure

⚡ Cyber Incident

  • Isolate affected systems immediately — disconnect from the network
  • Do not pay any ransom without contacting us first
  • Preserve evidence — do not wipe or reformat systems
  • Document everything: when you noticed the incident, what systems are affected

🤴 Liability Claim (Someone Claims Against You)

  • Do not respond directly to any legal correspondence
  • Forward any claim letters or legal notices to us immediately
  • Do not make any payments or settlements without our involvement
  • Gather all documentation related to the incident
