P. Abdool (Chairman, Managing Director)
Peter Abdool has been the Managing Director of Abdool & Abdool Inc. from 1994 to present and is heavily involved in every facet of its operation. His career in Insurance began in 1976 in Canada where he resided for eighteen (18) years with initial training in Insurance and Insurance financial products with the Life Underwriters Association of Canada and has considerably working experience with Canadian Insurers and Brokers including Colonial Life Insurance, Empire Life and North American Life Insurance
Victor Insanally CCHS
Victor Insanally is a Director of Abdool & Abdool Inc. His background is in radio announcing and program production with strong attachment to the Guyana Broadcasting Corporation and the British Broadcasting Corporation (Caribbean section).He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Guyenterprise Advertising Agency, a leading advertising, marketing and public relations firm, since 1967.
Doodnauth Persaud
Doodnauth Persaud is a Director of Abdool & Abdool Inc. He has been with the Neal & Massy Group for over 17 years and was the Chief Executive Officer of Neal & Massy operations in Guyana.
Carmen Abdool
Carmen Abdool began her career at the Guyana & Trinidad Mutual Fire Insurance Company Motor Department in the year 1967 where she remained for two years until 1969. She then went on to join the Demerara Mutual Life Insurance Company in the latter part of 1969 until 1974. In mid of 1974 she joined Abdool & Abdool Inc. and retired in 1985. Mrs. Abdool has been a director since 1993.
Joshua Abdool
Joshua Abdool is a Director of Abdool & Abdool Inc. an Attorney-at-Law who heads the Civil Litigation department at Templar Chambers, Law Firm. He also serves as a member of the board of Templar Corporate Services.
Organizational Structure
As a service organization, we recognize that the provision of excellent services is closely linked to the maintenance of quality standards. It is our corporate belief that excellent service must be the commitment of every department and must be intrinsic to every function of the company.
Our organizational structure is flexible enough to allow the realignment of our operations as our customers’ expectations change. We have a non-hierarchical, uncomplicated organizational structure which together with significant investments in technology has enabled us to optimize our staffing levels to our present complement of 17 employees and to achieve revenue per Employee Ratio that is one of the highest in our industry.
Abdool & Abdool Inc. can be structured into two core areas from the perspective of revenue generation - our Insurance Broking operations and our Employee Benefits Consulting Unit. Both these core areas are provided with support services from an Administrative Unit led by Peter Abdool backed by a team of service oriented professionals led by Anil Singh and from a Finance/Accounting and Supervisory Unit led by Roslyn De Freitas.
